The journey began when our school’s director Principal, Dr. Pampa Chaudhari, introduced us to the new world of TKT and explained its importance and advantages to us. I still remember that day. I was filled with zeal to step into the “Cambridge world.” However, I wouldn't deny that managing time for this was not easy, but we all teachers were sailing in the same boat.
As it is well said, “TEAMWORK makes dreams work.” We all used to spare some time from our schedules in school and at home to catch up for small meetings wherein we used to read the TKT: CLIL Module book and link it to our own specialized subject. “PEER-TUTORING” as our beloved Dr. Pampa Ma’am says helped us. On the day of the exam, I was a bit nervous as after a long time the roles were reversed and I was not on the side of taking an exam but rather giving one.
The TKT: CLIL approach has been a game-changer in my career. It has allowed me to create a richer and more engaging environment for my students. As educators, our ultimate goal is to inspire lifelong learning and the CLIL approach is a way to achieve it. I would like to thank Dr. Pampa Ma’am and SETR’s Skills Edge for giving me this opportunity. As our PICT culture always says, “LEARNING should never stop”, thus here I am a proud recipient of this certificate.
